Eddie Uzzle

    Eddie was born in Boston Mass., and his family moved to the Daytona area in 1974. He attended grade school here, and later graduated from Spruce Creek High School in 1983. While in Daytona, Eddie's love for music came to life... singing and acting became his desire. With surfing still on his mind, he decided to attend a college near the ocean. He moved to Jacksonville and attended Jacksonville University seeking a vocal performance degree. There, he joined up with musicians from the Jazz department, and formed a band for frat parties, weddings, special occasions.

    After leaving school, Eddie became a General Manager for Bennigans. He later moved to Tallahassee, and attended Holiday Inn University. While in Tallahassee working in a night club, he started playing solo in clubs around the Panama City area. Moving back to Daytona, Eddie met Mike Caso and Kenny Sphire in 1989. The trio became the house band at Blackbeard's for almost a decade (Parallel has since become an icon for entertainment in the Daytona area). Performing his solo act at the Daytona Surfside for twelve years, Eddie has now moved to the Pirates Cove Hotel (in the Crows Nest Lounge). The Parallel Band still performs together on Saturday nights at the Racing's North Turn, and Eddie appears every Sunday and Monday at Inlet Harbor, which he has done for the last twelve years. Eddie is married and has 3 wonderful children.
